Thiruvananthapuram is catching up with the emerging bandwagon of private FM.Within a week's span,4 FM stations are on air in the capital city-some of them doing their test transmission though.On 28 jan 2008 Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM ( from The Times Group) started its operation.Mathrubhumi launched its Club FM 94.3 the next day.The big big player Anil Ambani's Big 92.7 FM and Kal radio's[Sun TV] SFM 93.5 are also on air as on 29 Jan 2008.
Now that 'clash of the titans is in the offing' what will happen to the gov owned Ananthapuri FM 101.9.How are they going to change the outdated boring programmes? That will be interesting to watch ...err ...listen!
