Google Chrome

Google chrome beta  is available for download at google home page.

Google Chrome is an open source web browser developed by Google. It bu
ilds on components from other open source software, including WebKit and Mozilla, and is aimed at improving stability, speed and security with a simple and efficient user interface. The name is derived from the graphical user interface frame, or "chrome", of web browsers.
The beta for the Windows version was released on September 2, 2008.Mac OS X and Linux versions are under development and will follow the Windows version.

The browser is pretty impressive at the first sight itself. The magical google blue color is doing the trick.Google avoided the "often-felt-unnecessary" menu and saved some inches at the top.The only thing most people do with the menu is included as a settings button aesthetically placed  right to the url box(thats just not the url box any more...you can type anything there...it gives suggestions too).If at all you need some more functions other than settings, you can invoke them through the menu popped up when you press the button just next to the url box, called the contol button which sits left to the settings button. On the left of the url box is the bookmark ,refresh, back and forward buttons. On top of the url box,Tabs are arranged impressively in curved form. You have a button to add more tabs at the end of the tab list.At botton of the url box is the bookmarks toolbar. Finally there is a lot of screen area that is left for your site's content at its bottom. And thats the google approach to the already fierse browser domain!
